You can't find a photograph of the disease. But you can find one of a person who suffers from the disease and the virus it comes from on google images.

Why is Tuberculosis on the increase

Why is Tuberculosis on the increase?
Self explanatory question, but apparently it is on the increase, despite there being vaccines. Are we becoming less immune to diseases because of our 'clean' lifestyles or is it something else?

No, it's because there are people who contract TB and take the antibiotics, but don't finish the complete cycle of dosing. When you take any antibiotic and don't finish it all the way through you don't kill all of the bacteria, and it mutates! There are now antibiotic resistant strains out there that we don't know how to kill yet because of these people!
2 :
Tuberculosis is treated by antibiotics, however some strains have become resistant. Antibiotics are being prescribed for so many things that don't require them, that it causes diseases to mutate faster and become resistant.Tuberculosis is very contagious and an antibiotic resistant strand can take several months to treat(that is, if you survive). B/c TB is so contagious, and b/c of the growing populations in cities, people live closer together and TB can spread faster and easier.
3 :
People do not finish their treatment. People with Aids are more prone to it. Unlike other people in other nations, Americans are not vaccinated against it when they are born

Tuberculosis is highly contagious disease. If your father is having actually, and sputum is positive for TB, then he should be isolated. All the other members are to be tested for TB. If any one else is also having, that should be treated as well. Tuberculosis is a treatable disease nowadays. Many governments have free drugs strategies for tuberculosis. Treatment is only 6-9 months

I think it could be helped still. Tuberculosis is an illness that needs a long time to heal, some may never heal completely but, provided that their lungs still has the capacity to heal itself and can still support a patient's need for air, then it's still possible. But it entails a lot of effort and sacrifice for someone. For one thing, those who have tuberculosis due to smoking, needs to find a way to stop at all costs. I had an uncle once who had tuberculosis and was smoking. He was in the late stages but managed to be better, but after a while, he can't help but smoke again. That actually caused his death. It was a shame because he really looked healthy and good, he just couldn't stop completely

yeah its normal...I had the same
2 :
You mean the test to see if you've been exposed? That's what it looks like if you have a reaction after a few days. Right now it might just be irritated because you had something injected under your skin.
3 :
Yes, that is normal but if your skin starts molding up and gets a little bruised up and bumpy then you need to see a doctor. Take Care. :)
4 :
if you had the TB test and it swells up like that....then the doctor's going to make you take a drug for 6 months..... the claim is that the body was exposed at one point or another and you should take it as a preventive measure. it happened to me but i think it makes my hair fall out more easier now..now that im off that medicine btw that was the only time i ever took medicine for a long period of time...i usually dont take medicine at all
5 :
if you JUST got the shot it might just look like a mosquito bite because the stuff injected hasnt gotten time to disperse yet. but what everyone else said is right too
