Only if you don't like having chunks of your lungs turned to pus. TB is an airborne transmission bacteria that in normal healthy people tends to go for lungs; in immune system compromised people it can attack the whole body. If your friend takes your medicine there are usually not many major problems. Pros: None

Can I be infected by the tuberculosis

Can I be infected by the tuberculosis?
My boyfriend who I would be getting married to was diagnosed of TB yesterday. What do I do? I don't want to leave him, but what are the chances to full help and a healthy family?

Get tested, ask doctor, problem solved
2 :
He probably wasn't diagnosed with TB. He probably tested positive on a PPD or similar test but that doesn't mean he has full blown TB. When a person has full blown TB they get quarantined like E.T. For what he probably has there is medication. You should be fine... in time.
3 :
If he just had a positive PPD there's little to worry about. If he does have actual TB, if he takes the full course of antibiotics he will be ok

Does anyone know anything about atypical tuberculosis

Does anyone know anything about atypical tuberculosis?
My co-worker's daughter has had it since she was 4 (she is now in her 20s) and she is having a bad flare up again. I would like to find resources for both treatment and research.

as in a TB vaccine? depends an the state. And they do experiment on prisoners through the food, Ive been in the joint and everyone had the same symptoms when they ate certain foods. Especially the over 40 crowd. Prisons are cleaner than hospitals and everyone is a big chicken when it came to a sneeze or a fart. Big tough criminals steralizing the toilet before setting their royal ass on it. The food made poeple hypersensitive and narrow minded

If I have "Latent TB" (tuberculosis) Can you still get a working visa in China or Asia

If I have "Latent TB" (tuberculosis) Can you still get a working visa in China or Asia?
I have "Latent TB" (tuberculosis) But Not the disease TB, just the dormant TB that never really activates again, unless were weak and unhealthy, but I'm only 27 years old and very healthy still. Well Immigration requires me to pass my health check up next Monday., The doctor Put "Fit to Work" / But also put Latent TB, non-infectious. Does anyone think I'll have an issue being granted a Working Visa? Anyone who has been through this process please share you thoughts. Thanks.

depends on the country you wanna apply for!!! I don't think so, it will be easy to get working in China, as they are very currpot people and Asia is very big, India might be a option and Japan as well, also depends on your Qualifications, Soft. Eng might be taken in any Country, how good you might be in Communications , by speaking them languages ......... depends on one and other things

There was that guy who had it that they detained here in the US, I believe he was from England?? I say hes the worst because he came into my country and could of exposed all those babies whose moms refuse vacinations, and he could of likely killed alot of them as it spread.

I live in South Africa and as far as I know the wors case is South Africa, particularily the Western Cape province which has a cooler and wetter climate than most of South Africa. There are large problems with multi drug resistant TB as well as Extreme drug resistant TB

Can you get TB Tuberculosis from sharing a cigarette with someone with TB, but who is not contagious

Can you get TB Tuberculosis from sharing a cigarette with someone with TB, but who is not contagious?

No, Brief exposure to a source of TB rarely infects a person. It's day-after-day close contact that usually does it. He also would have to have an active case of TB.
2 :
If you sure he's not TB active, then my answer would be : no, you can't. But if you not sure, statistically : he has to be in TB treatment for at least a month, so he can't spread TB (dormant). For smoker, sometimes need more time than usual. Pulmonary TB commonly spread through dropplet, whenever he cough and speak. In very rare case, if you swallow infectious mucus when your immunity low. I don't think you'll get TB from sharing cigarette. But there still chance you'll get TB from dropplet. You better consume vitamin to boost your immune system. If you still worry, go see your doctor 3 month later. And aware TB sign : weight loss, night sweat, chronic cough, febris, etc.
3 :
Unlikely. However, you are sharing saliva with this individual. You can get meningitis, Epstein-Barr Virus (mononucleosis), and a host of other saliva-borne diseases.
4 :
If he has extrapulmonary TB or he is on treatment for over a month, he is not contagious. Don't worry
