Why are they given 2 different antibiotics at the same time? How is it any different than a different antibiotic only after bacteria develop resistance to the first?

if u give more antibiotics initially , then there is less chance of developing resistance with using them one by one. TB patients shud be getting 4 antibiotics to start with, which are decreased later on to 2
