i know this girl and I love her a lot! What are some ways to get infected with tuberculosis from her?

Stupidest thing you can do.....but I'll go Have her cough in your mouth Have her spit her blood in your mouth while she is coughing. TB is an airborne virus and if you breath in a smal confined room with her for a while you all good! Congrats! You just contract a disease that kills! Thats not love......this is suicide So seriously, don't. This is a post telling you how easy it is to contract it. She is going to go through some horrible times. Blood in sputum, constant coughing, Flu like symptoms, weight loss, night sweats and it goes on and on.

You can't take it from someone else but you can catch it from someone else if they are actively sick from it. That is when you are contagious. If the disease is in a dormant stage it isn't contagious. If it is active (the person is sick from the TB) then all they have to do is be around you and cough and you are susceptible to it. That doesn't mean that you will get it though. There are people who have been exposed to TB and they don't get it. I was exposed to it at work and I don't actually have it. My body has produced the antibodies necessary to fight it off. That doesn't mean that I will never get it that just means that I fought it off.
